4th of July Celebration!

We went with Josh,Marla and the kids (Ontko of course) to Josh's mom's house in downtown Riverside! It was so much fun and the fireworks were great- the kids loved them! The only set back was when they set off the first firework and it exploded too close to the ground and started a couple of fires on Mt. Rubidoux! oops! It took about 20 minutes to put all the fires out before they went on with the show. It was nice to see our tax payers dollars at work!
Yeah! Our little family!
Don't you just love that Cameron is on the cell phone during the firework show-what can I say... she's a busy girl!
By now, you have to have noticed the giant cast on her leg....... she did that earlier that morning. She was walking around with her "blankey" and stepped on the corner of it and slipped and fell. We went to the Insta-Care and they said that it was not broken, but that she must have twisted it. She wore the soft cast for a few days and then she was pretty much ok. I think the cast almost did more harm than good. When we took off the cast we noticed that it had been rubbing on her heal and that she had a blister the size of her ENTIRE heal! I felt so BAD! She couldn't walk for almost a week because of the blister!

Father's Day

This was a great day!
The kids and I had just returned from our Utah trip and we were so excited to spend time with Josh and Grandma & Grandpa!

The kids and I made this apron for Grandpa Kurt!

Happy Father's Day! We love you!

Utah Trip!

Don't you just love the 12 hour drive..... especially with kids! It's Fantastic!
Utah Trip
June 9th - June 14th
Marla and I decided to take the kids (Case, Cameron, Parker and Lincoln) to Utah while the Josh's had training for work. We are CRAZY, in know!
So the drive was fun......... (I guess that's what will call it) not as fun for me as for Marla though. The morning we were supposed to leave Parker came down with a stomach bug, which also got Lincoln sick. So Marla spent the drive cleaning up vomet! She's amazing, I know! By the end of the trip she got the bug, and of course, my kids didn't want to be left out, so they got it on the drive home! Good Times!
I think the only thing that kept me sane on the drive is that 'Big Dog' (Marla's Josh) flew up to drive home with us and he took ALL of the kids in their SUV for a couple of hours! Marla and I were able to talk and sit in silence.......... it was amazing!
Thanks for taking one for the team champ!
Dispite the crazy drive, the trip was soooo much fun!
We stopped in St. George to visit my dad, a.k.a. "Grandpa Paul". He took Case for a ride and we had to pry him off of the motorcycle because he was having so much fun!
Thanks Grandpa Paul!

This is the funniest face, I LOVE IT!
Everytime Cameron sees an animal she makes this face and grunts like a monkey, it's awesome! I think she must have picked it up from Josh or something!

"Here horsey, horsey"

Grandpa with the kids!

Sorry Cameron, you look like you are in pain in this picture!
We finally made it to South Jordan......... Yeah!!! This is a picture of Cameron, Great-Grandpa Taylor (visiting from N. Carolina) and myself.

I love this picture!
Case, Grandma Susan, Great-Grandpa Taylor and Cameron.

Case was in "TIME OUT".
(No, just kidding. I don't want CPS knocking on my door. I don't know why he liked to sit inside the bird cage- it must be because it's so spacious.)

Cameron and Grandma Susan riding the tracks into downtown SLC.

That's always a fun experience! (Good thing the kids didn't notice the transvestite that sat down next to us. He was wearing a loose halter top, white skinny jeans and his hair was in a half pony with an 80's scrunchy. Fab-u-lous!)

Case with his twin cousins, Beau and Rowdy. This was definitely a highlight for Case, he LOVES trains right now.

This is one of my ABSOLUTE Favorite Pictures!!!!! Thanks for taking it Marla!

The rooftop of the Conference center is AMAZING! If you have not checked it out, you have to take time to do it! It's worth it!

Beau, Presley, Parker and Case. This is also on the rooftop of the Conference center!

I love the visitor center!

Marla, Lincoln, and Cameron.

My sister Michelle lives in Coalville (a very small town by Park City) and her house is a WONDERLAND for kids...... and adults! We had sooooooo much fun, this was definitely Case's favorite thing about the trip!
Case and Cole riding the Go-Cart.

My sister Michelle and Case (riding Willis) I think he is like 80 years old, I felt bad when it was my turn to ride him!

Case, Cole and Mckenna riding the quad! Case didn't care who was driving as long as he didn't have to get off!

Seriously Michelle's house is the DISNEYLAND of Utah!!!
My Grandpa Floyd built this trailer for us when we were kids! He was so amazing! The best Grandpa, I miss him so much! We nicknamed it "the train"! It was by far the coolest thing for us growing up and it's so fun to see the next generation loving it just as much!
Michelle does live on a farm, so leave it up to ME to step in poop.............. with flip flops on of course!
(By the way, if you've never stepped in manuer- it's like tar to get off! I had to take a wire brush to my foot to get it off!)

Michelle you're the best! Thanks for letting us play at your house!

On the way home we stopped at the Dino Museum in St. George!

Happy Birthday Case!

3 YEARS OLD

Don't you just love party hats!

"Mmmmmmmm, is that candy on top of the cake?"
Case turned 3 on June 8, 2008. Although, the 8th was a Sunday, so we celebrated it on Saturday, June 7th.

Mommy and Case.

Have I mentioned how much Case loves to have his picture taken?

I think this was a great shot, he doesn't look annoyed at all!

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!

That's what Best Friends are for! Thanks Parker!

Check out that swing! He has a promising future in T-ball.

It's wierd, for some reason he doesn't like to shag balls! It's a good thing he has the best little sister in the World. Thanks Cameron!

The old clasic bean-bag-toss.............you gotta love it!

Happy Birthday Case, we love you!

Camping with the Ontko's!

Silverwood Lake Camping Trip!
May 30th - 31st
This was a blast! We went with the Ontko's (Josh, Marla, Parker and Lincoln) and camped Friday night and then went boating on the lake Saturday! Josh's dad Kurt, brought up the boat and took us out Saturday morning (thanks Grandpa!), it was awesome! The kids loved it!
I would say that it was almost the perfect campout except for a few things. Well, we all know that Josh is the Super-Eagle Scout- Camper, so when I suggested that we take an air mattress to sleep on he laughed and said "that's not real camping"! He also said, "we don't need to take pillows, we will just roll up our sweat shirts and use them". Yeah, it was freezing, there was no taking off anything! I think that I put on at least 4 layers of clothes on the kids and I before we went to bed............... on the rocky ground............... with no pillows!
It was FANTASTIC!

Lincoln & Cameron
(Saturday Morning on the beach)
I think I sense a connection between these two!

The boys couldn't get enough of the boat!

Yummy breakfast! It's obvious Case is a morning person!
Parker, Case & Lincoln

Case, Parker & Lincoln

The Josh's hard at work!
a.k.a. (Ontko) "Big Dog" and (Heckroth) "Big Kat"
Josh loves being called "Big Kat" especially if you make the "meow, meow" sound when saying it!

This was Cameron's first time camping. Yeah!

Setting up camp.... good times!

Hmmm..... how many matches are Eagle Scouts supposed to use to get the fire going??? I thought they were supposed to rub twigs together!
Good times!!!

Got Oil?

"Does this light make my face look shinny?"

"Hmmmm........ It might have something to do with this bottle of baby oil that Case poured all over ME!"

This happened back in May, but of course I am just NOW getting around to posting it. For all of you faithful bloggers I applaud you- I am horrible at this stuff!
So here's what happened. The kids and I were hanging out in my bedroom. I was in the bathroom getting ready to go somewhere, when I realized the kids were being
WAY to QUITE!
I looked around the courner and saw Case dump the last bit of baby oil on Cameron's head! He had a huge grin on his face, he thought it was so cool that she was wet. I looked over at Cameron and oil was dripping from her nose and her chin and she had the biggest smile on her face! She had this look like, "don't I look pretty"! It was one of those moments when you are trying so hard not to laugh..... but then your body starts to shake..... and your done! I couldn't send Case to time out because I was laughing so hard.

Fire Station Field Trip

Future Fireman???
I don't know............. but, the badge sure makes him look official!

Now were talking! He was just missing the helmet!

Case asked me, "where are the keys?" as he was trying to shut the door. I think if he could always drive the fire truck he might just end up being a fireman.

Case and Parker are right up front next to all the button! Yikes!

They had a fireman in all of his gear so that the kids could see that he wasn't a monster and that if they are ever in a fire, he is there to help them!

Although, Case still wasn't convinced!

"Fireman?................ What fireman?"

Cameron was too busy to notice that we were even at a fire station, thanks to this little admirer!

Best Friends!

"This has been a great day! Can we come back again tomorrow?"
